The Shiraz vines were planted in 1908, making the Centenarian vineyard on Stockwell Road one of the older vineyards in the Barossa Valley. These ancient vines have an extremely deep root system, plunging more than 50 meters, which contributes to the depth and complexity of the Shiraz. The vineyard is low yielding and produces highly concentrated grapes, leading to wines with powerful flavours, excellent balance and great length.
